One of the most important tourist attractions of the Marches. Each year the City of Loreto has a high number of religious tourists.
Famous is also the pilgrimage that sees many faithful begin the journey on foot from the town of Macerata to the town of Loreto.
The village is world famous because inside the Basilica retains the Shrine of the Holy House.
The city lies on the top of a gentle hill, with a broad campaign around. Even at a distance is visible the dome and the bell tower of the Basilica that require height and majesty. On top of the Basilica is the figure of the Madonna. The panorama stretches from the sea at Monte Conero, to the Umbria-Marche Apennines.
